Embossed handmade paper are made of fibers from barks of paper mulberry tree or saa paper tree in Thai. In making of the embossed paper lamp, we use two types of mulberry paper. The thicker, rough textured paper is required for high relief patterns. And the thinner, fine textured paper is used for lower relief patterns.
When switch on the Embossed Paper Lamp, the soft glow of incandescent light shines through the semi transparent thinner paper and highlights the embossed patterns of the thicker handmade paper.
